Discounted Pass of All Passes SLC

Last year when I moved to Salt Lake County, quite a few people asked me if I had a Pass of All Passes.

I had no clue what that was.

This year SueAnn tried to talk me into buying one but it was back in January and Kev and I didn't know where we'd be living this summer (our rental contract went month-to-month in December and we were just hanging around until we found the perfect house). I didn't want to buy the passes and then have all our plans change and have the passes be inconvenient to redeem.

But now that we're settled in this awesome new neighborhood and MELTING in the heat of this summer, I started looking around for discounted passes again. Thankfully, I found them on Groupon today. This deal is amazing at only $29 for the pass (for each person). I know it's not as good as the $20 deals back in the winter, but in this $29 deal, you get $20 to put toward food purchase at any of the Seven Peaks in Utah. Summer suits

I've been wearing the same swimsuit every summer for the last seven years (?!). Maybe longer. And even though I hate hate hate it at this point, I can't bring myself to buy a new one. It's like, I'd rather just stay unhappy with this one since I know all its faults. Why feel disappointment in a new suit after all these years? I was surprised when I browsed Anthro's swimsuits because I often think their clothes are super-ugly. But the suits were cute!

Poolside

Aspen and I joined some friends at the pool this week and I was wishing for a sunhat as I sat in 100degree weather. Even with SPF 50 my nose got pink after an hour at the pool. Yikes. So I need a sunhat next time, and another application of sunscreen.

Delight in J. Crew

I admit I've purchased clothes from J. Crew for Aspen. In my defense, it's usually at the outlet (when I visit my parents) or when items are on sale online for less than $10 each. Otherwise, I can't justify spending that kind of money on clothes Aspen will only wear for a few months before they're too small (or stained beyond saving!).

Steve Madden boots

Saturday morning was spent driving around in a mild snowstorm to three different stores to find snow bibs for Aspen. Kev finally went to a store by himself (while I took Aspen home for lunch) and scored a pair for 30% off. The adventure wasn't a total bust, though, because at ROSS we found snow boots for Aspen and a pair of beautiful, cognac Steve Madden boots for me.
