Target Mossimo Shorts
I recently got these shorts in teal, and having worn them a few times now I wish I could get them in all the colors! I've also been looking for a good pair of THESE, but then my sister gave me an old pair of jeans she doesn't want so I'm making my own. SCORE.

Delight in Target
I can't decide if I love or hate the Payton Wedge (in the multi-color option). It's like... is it too much or just enough? It looks like a cozy winter sweater so I'm inclined to love it.

It's finally sweater weather!
For a while there, I didn't know what to wear because it would be 45 degrees in the morning and 68 degrees in the afternoon. Have you ever tried getting a two-year-old to wear a sweater? For whatever reason, MINE WON'T. I have to bribe her. She's only too happy to take it off in the warmer weather.
But now it's more consistently chilly and even if Aspen won't wear a sweater, I CAN.

I'll take one for me, and one in miniature for Aspen.
Aspen is only slightly obsessed with cats... I can only imagine what she would do if I got her a bag with a cat on it. And then put her stuffed kitty IN it. Holy cow. Her mind would be blown.

These two bags from Wu's line for Target are on the money. Perfectly spring-like and sophisticated with a little fun. I actually purged a lot of purses after Aspen was born, and I've never replenished my stash (except for a free purse from a clothing swap). That means I could maybe probably look at these, right?

Wooed by Wu
Jason Wu's line at Target is divine. There are actually pieces I could buy and wear without any alterations. That is huge for me. I hate that I usually close up a neckline or let down a hem in order to make an item work for me and my tastes.
This Cycle Dress, for example, only requires a pair of leggings or tights and it's good to go. Now, is there some kind of celebration coming up soon for which I can buy myself a present? No? Darn.

Birfday Booty, Day 3

Ok, forgive me for the "artistic" photo. I was flipping my hair a bit when the shot was taken. But, I guess you know I really am full of myself; why else would I have a whole bunch of posts focused on what I wore? Duh.
I'm not usually brave enough to wear a cardi all buttoned up like a shirt. The idea seemed to stuffy to me before I got this particular sweater. Having the bold print makes me feel less like a librarian than I thought I would. Love it.

Allowing me to successfully spy on my kid.

If you're looking for an inexpensive but decent baby monitor, get this one! I love it. It is water-resistant so I don't worry about taking it into the bathroom while I shower. It picks up the softest of whispers and whimpers with clarity and makes me feel better when I leave Aspen in one room while I'm in another. Before I got this, I was paranoid that I'd miss her wake-sounds and then she'd resort to crying in order to let me know she was ready to eat.
I picked this Sony monitor up at Target and for my small house, it's perfect. Also, the receiver is either battery powered or plugged in via AC/DC. Very convenient.
In case this one craps out on me though, what type of monitor have you successfully used?

Most likely replacing the mittens Maddie accidentally ate.

And Kev can pretend they're from him because we've been horrible this year about buying gifts for each other.
