Stripes, stripes and a few more stripes.
Even though my step-dad works for LLBean and gets a discount, I don't usually shop their store for clothing. First of all, it's pretty expensive. Second, the style is a little mature for me. I do, however, have a great pair of blue, polka-dot flats from LLBean that I picked up last April when Aspen and I visited my parents.
When the LLBean catalogue showed up this week I was pleasantly surprised by all things striped. I found three shirts that I wouldn't mind adding to my collection (maybe it's because I was wearing a striped shirt yesterday?).
In the sale section I also fell for this dress and this skirt.

Birfday Booty, Day 7
I like this outfit for like, a million reasons. 1) I'm wearing stripes and polka dots! 2) I'm wearing skinny jeans. 3) I love love love the necklace Mary sent me. 4) LL Bean made a pair of shoes that didn't make me want to throw up!! Go Beans!!

A Christmas wish come true.

Last year I found these slippers on LLBean's website and fell in love with them. This year I found them under my Christmas tree.
My parents got me a pair of my own and once I exchange them for the right size (I guessed wrong) I'll get to wear them all day long. I'm so excited! Maddie ate the pompoms off my current slippers so they just aren't as cute.

There aren't any locks on the doors, for real.

I have a history with LLBean. It's in my hometown. When I visited Freeport this summer, my sister and I came across this display of every catalogue cover LLBean produced. So fun! They have life-time warranties on their products. So my Grandpa's 20-year-old-worn-out-boots can be replaced for free.
It's open 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. It never closes. So when you're bored and in Freeport, check out LLBean. Wander around. Buy a postcard. Try on a pair of famous Bean Boots.
Also, please please please try their chocolate covered cranberries.
