Go find a giveaway!

Miss Jess is hosting a CSN giveaway on her blog this week so head over and take advantage of the multiple ways you can enter to win!

The prize is a $65 gift certificate good toward any item in any of CSN's online stores. It's one of my new favorite places to shop and I'm eyeing le creuset cook and bakeware like you wouldn't believe. It's delicious, and my love for it rivals my love for pyrex.

Good luck!

I just can't help myself.

I harbor a great love for Pyrex. But you know, it goes appreciated in the Pink House. I was scooping up ice cream last week into one of two Pyrex bowls I had. Kev wanted ice cream too, and he asked for a "pretty" bowl.

The only other one was dirty. So I went online to Etsy and bought these two. One is the perfect size for a couple of scoops of ice cream, and the other is perfect for marinading potatoes for the grill.

At under $15 for the bowls and shipping, I felt okay about it- especially since Kev specifically asked for a pretty bowl. I can't deny the man that request.

Still on the hunt

I love and regularly use my pyrex collection (scored on KSL). I'd still like to add to the collection I've accumulated. Kev found a couple of pieces for me at Christmas time and I was so surprised. He's sneaky.

The hearts casserole dish is my new favorite. The only problem with finding these items online is paying the shipping costs. I need to stick to Kev's tried-and-true method of browsing thrift stores and taking my time on the prowl. Now if I could just find the time to spend a day in all of Ogden's awesome thrift shops.

You'll never guess what I'm doing tomorrow.

Actually, maybe you will. But don't spoil my fun.

I'm going to fill my Pyrex void. I found an enthusiastic collector on KSL. She has duplicates of some items and is interested in whittling down her collection.

That means I'm getting a nice big lot of Pyrex dishes and lids for $30. I'm really excited.
