ashmae is all the rage these days

If you've ever read a blog (especially one associated with Provo) then you've probably heard of ashmae. She has a shop on Etsy with gorgeous watercolors, everything from personalized portraits to animals, to LDS temples.

Naturally, I fell in love with this one:

French inspiration and hippos. Two of the best things ever.

I think this has sparked plans for Aspen's first birthday.

I love hippos because in real life they are SO ugly.

I need to visit the Hogle Zoo this summer because it's been too long since my last trip (probably junior high!).

I'd like to remind myself how ugly hippos are in real life.
