Let's post half a dozen times in one freakin day!
Have I got a giveaway for YOU! I just read a friend's blog and saw how incredible her eyelash extensions turned out. I was really skeptical when I first heard about people getting these done. But good golly they look so natural and beautiful.
Steph got her lashes done by Mitzi, who has an awesome giveaway for a free set of extensions to one lucky winner! Also? Mitzi will take $10 off the process to any person who posts about the giveaway on their blog. Not bad at all.

So that's the scoop regarding the lash extensions. Good luck!

Yes, please.
I sent my sister a Forever21 gift card for her birthday and I keep sending her links of things I want her to buy. Or maybe I'll buy them for myself. Or maybe she'll take my advice and ship things to Utah (before she comes out to school again) and she'll ship them to my house and I can wear them first to make sure they're not poisonous or something.

I always wanted to be a singer when I was younger.
I have heard talk of Regina Spektor non-stop. She's an artist adored by many blog-writers I enjoy, and she's a favorite of some of my co-workers. I'd never heard her music and known it was her. I do that a lot now. I've fallen out of the music scene and I rely a lot on Kev to introduce to me great music. That's a perk of him being a former DJ. Last night he was in SLC listening to a band called The Black Keys. Don't ask me who they are.
I digress. The point is to make you fall in love with Regina Spektor as I have this week. She's wonderfully talented. Her voice. Her piano. I love the piano. I'd marry one if I knew how to play.
Magical, isn't it? Like raindrops falling on a lake. In a field of wildflowers. And while this particular song is quite sad, it's still so beautiful. I'd like to leave you with one more.
Now go have a lovely day, courtesy of Regina.

I love me all things handmade
I just discovered this Etsy shop, Studio Lyon. I love how earthy a lot of the prints are. I was surprised the owner is from Florida and not the North East.
We Have Roots Here $18.00
Puppy $2.50
Western Screech Owl $5.50
Yellow Bartlett $18.00
Black Capped Chickadee $18.00
Hope For Growth $8.00
I enjoy the simplicity of a lot of the prints contrasted with the intricate designs of others. It's a wonderful selection and I suggest you stop by Studio Lyon to see what she has to offer!

Hi
I haven't had much of a shopping/browsing urge in the last couple of weeks. But now that I'm done with everything that was on my desk this morning I've had some time to see what's out there waiting to be appreciated.
Ruched Knit top $15.80
Lace Scalloped skirt $27.80
Two-Pocket buttonup $12.50
City Style Goddess top $7.99
City Style T-Strap sandals $10.17
DownEast Shoreside dress (I got this in navy in stores for $10 last weekend!)
There's always music on Mondays.
Ogden City hosts music in the amphitheater downtown every Monday night. There's usually a movie following the performance as well. After Kev and I had creamies (and Maddie played tug-o-war with his popsicle stick!) we headed out for a night of music.
We're really glad that Kev's mom Linda, who performs with a band, reminded us that there's actually something to do in Ogden on a Monday night.
I guess we look like really nice people because the cutest little boy in the whole world came over to pet Maddie and talk with us. He was so excited to tell us that he was wearing Wolverine underwear. I was excited to hear it! Kev and I love Wolverine so much we'd probably wear his underwear too.
We also got to meet this little guy, Rex. He's a 3-month-old rat terrier, which is what breed we believe Maddie is. Kev was overjoyed to see a mini-version of his dog. He often tells me he wishes he could've known Maddie as a puppy. It's pretty cute.
I bet they'd be even cuter if they had matching Wolverine underwear.
