I can't seem to stop myself

Kev and I only got 2 Trick-or-Treaters this Halloween, so I had plenty of time to make some more gems for my shop.

I'm receieved some wonderful suggestions and feedback about the new additions, and I can't thank you all enough. It's my pleasure to keep coming up with unique necklaces for all of you!

The one, the only!

Miss Jess, help yourself to any item in my shop and I'll refund 50% of the total to you!

Look for more discounts/giveaways in the future :) I have all sorts of creations up my sleeves.

Delight in Banana Republic

I'm spoiled because there is a BP outlet where I grew up. I didn't shop there much in high school (even though I worked next door at GAP and got a discount) but now I am a big fan. It's just so grown-up. So when I need to pretend I am a professional, I get inspiration from BP.

Today I am loving this sheath dress:

I love the look with heels, or even tall boots. Either way, it works. I would probably use a skinny belt to polish the look off- place it at the smallest point of the waist and voila. Extra-slimming. Check out the dresses featured currently at BP for varying body types. It'll give you great ideas of what you should look for depending on your shape.

My only qualm-- all the dresses are modeled by girls of identical shape. Seriously? Why not show a real representative of that body type?

Delight in Etsy

Travellor necklace. J'adore.

Delight in J.Crew

I still can't afford J.Crew's dresses even when they're on sale. It's a sad fact, but it is indeed true.

I still appreciate them though.

Delight in Love21

Love21 is a slightly more sophisticated line from Forever21. The items are typically more modest and grown up than what I usually find in stores.

And I have fallen hard for two lovely dresses:

Satin Pleat Front Skirt

Water Lily Woven Skirt

Delight in ModCloth

I'm wondering how much more random a post could get. It's just that ModCloth has a delightful assortment of items to offer and it's hard for me to categorize them when all I really want to do is keep feverishly clicking on the next item that catches my eye.

This of it this way: you can wear that beautiful necklace while you use all the other things to make and serve a yummy treat to your guests. That pulls it all together in one nice little package.

You'll never guess what I'm doing tomorrow.

Actually, maybe you will. But don't spoil my fun.

I'm going to fill my Pyrex void. I found an enthusiastic collector on KSL. She has duplicates of some items and is interested in whittling down her collection.

That means I'm getting a nice big lot of Pyrex dishes and lids for $30. I'm really excited.

Delight in IKEA

A trip to Seth's almost always means a trip to IKEA. If I visit him without getting cinnamon buns from the IKEA bakery he won't let me come back.

During this lovely General Conference weekend, I had a specific project in mind that I knew IKEA could help me fulfill.

I bought the gold-leaf drawings from D.I. and they were in hideous old wooden frames. The drawings look so much better in matted Ribba frames. Thank goodness for IKEA. Can't wait to put them up in the Pink House!
